It all began with a passion for sharing what I love the most.
I have dabbled in blogging, content creation & sharing what I love in one way or another for almost 20 years. There's just something about it... I absolutely love NOT gatekeeping. If I visit someplace cool- I want to take beautiful pictures and share them! If I find a nifty product that's working well for me- I want to let everyone know in case they're in the market for something similar. And I love sharing knowledge I gain.
I'm originally from South Carolina but have lived all over the country getting to experience the beauty the USA has to offer. We now live in Montana where our hearts lie and my photography hobby gets to bloom in the best way.
Back in 2018 before it became trendy- my husband and I started diving into the homestead world. We started with a small garden & chickens and it all went holistic from there! Now we do everything from food prep to herbalism to homemaking to homeschooling... everything is rooted with our HOME and I wouldn't have it any other way.
In Feb 2025 I found out I had stage 4 colon cancer. Our world came crashing down on us. But after 2 major abdominal surgeries, 6 months of chemo and a LOT of holistic research, I finally beat cancer as of March 2026. I'm always accepting prayers for that continuous journey. I've been an art nerd since middle school, and this is where I get to let my life's passion bloom.
I was dubbed the art nerd back in the 7th grade. Art expression has run through my veins in one form or another for 30 years. I started with pencil drawings then progressed to paint. I picked up a camera for the first time in college, almost 20 years ago.
I've lived in the Appalachians for 3 months, summited 14ers, backpacked in the wilderness and acquired countless certifications over the years in outdoor exploration, leadership and safety. Since I was 17 years old, nature has been my comfort zone. Whether it was on a beach or in the mountains- peace always met me outside.
In 2017, I decided to point my camera at landscapes. This opened up a whole new world for me. I discovered nature photography and I've been honing my craft since then. Between kids, medical events and life in general- I've taken time off now and again. But I always come back and I'm so happy to share my work with the world. I love showcasing beautiful places.
